Shown here are some examples of the extensive work that Dascam has successfully delivered in the field of defence training. All this training was delivered in a dual-language format utilising a blend of academic and practical methods.
Placement of specialist advisors and consultants. We have provided specialist personnel to work embedded within our customer's organisations in order to either complete specific assignments of work or to pass specific skills or experience on to the customer. These placements are for any period from a few weeks up to a year or more. The great advantage for the customer is that the consultant is focused on a specific piece of work and is able to 'reach back' to Dascam for more detailed information or support when he needs to.
Systems Approach to Training. We
are engaged in a long-term programme to design and implement a Systems Approach to Training within a customer's organisation of over 20,000 personnel. This programme has entailed
the preparation of an extensive library of reference materials in English and Arabic. It has entailed the embedding of specialist consultants throughout the customer's organisation. It also entails the training of large numbers of the
customer's personnel in the skills necessary to apply the Systems Approach to Training at all levels of the organisation.
VIP Close Protection training. We have provided a full 'train the trainer' package in VIP close protection skills to a government customer. The training was carried out in the UK using a variety of specialist training establishments.
Public Order. We were engaged by a customer to provide public order (riot control) training to a number of military units. We provided multiple packages of training, catering for several thousand officers and soldiers.
Internal security. We were engaged by a customer to provide internal security training to a military organisation. We provided a detailed package of training based on the best of class from around the world. The package ran from basic skills development up to 'train the trainer' level.
Command and control. We were engaged by a customer to provide command and control
consultancy and training to assist in the integration of police and military operations. We provided a detailed package of work drawing on best of class practice from around the world. We utilised serving UK government experts in the delivery of the workshops.
Leadership training. We were engaged by a customer to provide leadership development training to junior officers drawn from all services. We provided a detailed package of training mixing academic and practical work designed to develop leadership and professional skills.
: Exercise planning. We were engaged to write exercises by which a NATO military organisation might be prepared for a forthcoming operational deployment.
