The project was to last for 18 months, through to final delivery of the bid and selection of Preferred Bidder.
Blue Sky provided a wide range of services to the client including military advice and consultancy, competitive edge analysis, comprehensive security support ranging across the required strategies for multiple sites, and technical requirements and procedures. Within the process, Blue Sky staff conducted cost analysis, Best Working Practices analysis and full compliance checks with MOD security policies.
As a part of the added value of Blue Sky, staff were involved with the design stages, briefing consultants on the ethos and background of the military way of life, as well as the security aspects of the built environment. Then they became part of the Facilities Management team to provide support as required.
Our staff then delivered the relevant parts of the bid documentation and presentations, prior to completion of the final bid. Following this, we were fully integrated in the bid revision process right up to the final selection.
According to the client, Blue Sky were "a hugely valuable input to the whole process, providing added value wherever possible and completing a highly professional security deliverable which was particularly complimented."
